Tours of the glassworks
The Novosad & Son Glassworks (Sklárna Novosad a syn) is a private enterprise, the second oldest glassworks in Bohemia. This is a place that has kept to a traditional form of production. Tour the production area to see the full procedure used in processing glass by hand.

Relax in a bath of beer
Pay a visit to the unique Harrachov beer spa, where the therapeutic treatments make use of the unpasteurised, unfiltered beer from the local micro-brewery. Thanks to the high content of vitamin B and other vitamins in the beer, bathing helps revitalise the skin and rejuvenate the body as a whole.

There is also a chapel of St. Elizabeth with glass bell from 1915. The Imperial church of St. Wenceslaw from (1822-1828) is also decorated with glass of this glass factory (chandelier, altar). Mining was finished in 1992 when the mine (fluor, heavy spar and galena) was closed on west hillside of Ptačinec (950 m. a. s.).

Traditional line is also forestry (a forest enterprise, a forest school and a saw-mill).
The role of the most important industrial sphere has been taken over by tourism industry.
